2026 Spring 5 A-Side Tournament Information and registration

The Narangba Eagles FC Spring 5 A-Side tournament returns again in 2026!

We know how much everyone loves this event, and that’s exactly why we were determined to bring it back — even with the significant infrastructure work happening on our fields. It might be a little smaller this year, but it will still be packed with the same FUN and ENERGY you’ve enjoyed in previous years. Spaces are limited - so get your registrations in quick!

REGISTRATIONS:
Registrations open for 2026 Narangba Eagles registered players on Friday 18 September.
If positions remain available, registrations will then open to non‑Narangba Eagles players on Friday 25 September.

Registrations close on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
Fixtures will be released on Friday 2 October 2026.

DIVISIONS:
- Under 6/7 Mixed
- Under 8/9 Mixed
- Under 10/11 Mixed
- Under 12/13 Mixed
- Under 14/15 Mixed
- Seniors 16+ Mixed Competitive
- Seniors 16+ Mixed Social

Divisions are subject to change. They may be adjusted by NEFC according to the number or player and team registrations received.

Please Note: All-boys teams and all-girls teams are permitted to enter Mixed divisions. Age groups are based on the age the player turns in 2026. For example, a player turning 10 in 2026 will play in U10.

DATES:
Teams will play a minimum of seven games over four weeks. You read that right - two games a week!

Round 1: Tuesday 6 October
Round 2: Thursday 8 October
Round 3: Tuesday 13 October
Round 4: Thursday 15 October
Round 5: Tuesday 20 October
Round 6: Thursday 22 October
Round 7: Tuesday 27 October
Finals Night: Thursday 29 October

Games cancelled due to wet weather will not be rescheduled and will be recorded as a 0–0 draw.

MATCH FORMAT:
Games consist of 17 minute halves, with a 2 minute halftime break and 9 minutes between games.
Fixtures will commence at 5pm each night.

FEES:
Junior Players (U6 - U15): $110 per player
Senior Players (16+): $120 per player

***Play On! Sports vouchers will be accepted for payment of the 2026 5-Aside competition however please note that they are a one-time use voucher and no residual refund can be given. By utilising the voucher for this event you accept that you will be foregoing the remaining voucher value ***

Only paid-up players will be placed into teams! Registrations MUST be paid in full before players are placed into a team.

TEAMS:
If you are registering as part of a Team, please remember to put your 5 A-Side team name in the preference box.

If you are registering as an individual player, the Club will place you into a team. If you would like to be placed with friends but don't have a full team, please list their names in the preference box when registering.

Each team needs a Manager (who is 18+) that will receive communication from the Club and be responsible for passing this information onto Players/Parents.

Teams should have between 6-8 players to allow for substitutions/absences.

UNIFORMS:
Teams may choose their own team colours, uniforms or outfits. Be creative - you don't want to clash with other teams! Bibs/vests will be provided in the event of a colour clash.

PLAYER INSURANCE:
Football Queensland have changed their requirements for tournaments run outside the regular season. For insurance purposes they ask that you complete the 'Play On' registration in Squadi. Their fee is $35.
Players who did not play outdoor football in 2026 must complete a free Play On Football registration in Play Football.
